Astrud Gilberto - The girl from Ipanema

I usually sing this one at karaoke. After all, it can't be Madonna all the time. And this video is just the best!

And did you know that the girl of Ipanema is a real girl?

Jerrold Immel - Dallas

I have no idea who the man that composed this song is. But with Dallas on Super Drama TV I thought of sharing it with you and remember the good old times.

Duffy - Mercy

I'm going crazy about this one. Clearly inspired in the 70's, with a clear voice and a very simples look. Wonderful. And that cool thing is that this song is out only on the internet still everyone is listening to her!

Debbie Harry - Two times blue

This lady deserves all my respect and admiration. While searching online I came across this wonderful piece of Debbie!

Tina Turner - Something special

Ca esta ela de novo. Vi-a nos Grammys e tenho andado a pensar nela... E lembrei-me desta bela musiquinha...

Here she is again. I saw her at the Grammys and I have been thinking about her... And I thought of this nice song...

This is another really good one! Not only do I love the song, but it's actually sang by an amazing group, Pizzicato Five!

Lucy Liu - Queen of the crime council

It's as simple as this: her voice is amazing and the crescendo of emotions is amazing and would please even Aristotle himself. And Sophie Fatale's interpreting, right there, just behind her, makes this scene of the movie even greater.
Even without an image, the sounds of this scene are sublime, just like Kill Bill 1 itself!

The Gift - Me, myself and I

Hoje dei com esta. Eu adoro os the gift.

I came across this one earlier today. I love the gift. They have their own style and her voice is just awesome. The feeling pouring out of this song makes me feel good, as if I were in a warm and kind hug. That's really it.

Caetano Veloso - Cucurrucucu paloma

If there are good movies out there, the ones by Pedro Almodovar certainly are some of them. For years now, I am in awe with the genius this man is. He creates stories full of weird and almost impossible characters when the real stories come down to just being human. Genius!
And this little piece of music made in heaven and sung by Caetano is genius as well. In yet another amazing movie by Pedro, of course!

Knight Rider

I turned the tv on and there were Michael and his pussycat, Kitt. I couldn't resist sharing this wonder with the rest of the world! I loved Kitt! And I must confess that, deep down, I still love it!
